On June 22, 2022, Chongqing Jianfeng Haokang Chemical Co., Ltd. held a "learn from one, guard against a hundred" study meeting to implement the instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on emergency management and safety production, and to convey the spirit of the emergency video conference held by the Ministry of Emergency Management regarding the recent multiple combustion and explosion accidents in the petrochemical industry. The meeting was presided over by Li Ping, deputy secretary of the Party branch and general manager. Managers, department heads, and staff from the production, equipment, operation, and safety and environmental protection departments, as well as assistant-level personnel and above, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Li Ping, deputy secretary of the Party branch and general manager, emphasized that in response to the explosion accidents at PetroChina and Sinopec during this year's safety production month, Jianfeng Haokang should conduct comparative investigations, conduct risk assessments of all safety risk points, strictly control hazardous chemicals, especially the transportation, storage, use, and production management of methanol, conduct comprehensive scientific control analysis, prevent complacency, strengthen the deployment and implementation of "five preventions" work in summer, and ensure safe production at the enterprise. Heads of various departments should attach great importance to safety production work, raise their political standing, coordinate and promote work, and those in charge of safety and environmental protection should lead by example in grasping safety. Personnel in various positions should implement their responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of the full-staff safety production responsibility system. We should make practical efforts to create a safe and stable production and operation environment and achieve outstanding results to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
