On September 27, 2022, the Jianfeng Haokang Party branch organized all party members, league members, department heads, and business managers to visit the Red Education Base in Luoyun Township, Jiaoshi Town, Fuling District, Chongqing, to carry out a themed Party Day activity of "Visiting the Red Base and Reviewing the Red Memory".
In the morning, Wang Wenwu, secretary of the Party branch, and Li Ping, deputy secretary, on behalf of the Jianfeng Haokang Party branch and all party members, presented a wreath to the monument of the Second Sichuan Red Army Guerrilla Detachment. All party members, cadres, and young people observed a moment of silence and paid their respects with three bows. Comrade Qiu Ling, the disciplinary committee member and youth committee member, led all party members in renewing their oath of joining the Party in front of the martyrs' monument, recalling their original aspirations of joining the Party, and strengthening their ideals and beliefs.
Comrade Wei Shaorong, former member and organizational committee member of the Luoyun Township Party Committee, gave a detailed explanation in the exhibition hall of the Second Sichuan Red Army Guerrilla Detachment about the birth of the Second Sichuan Red Army Guerrilla Detachment and the heroic deeds of the core members of the Second Sichuan Red Army Guerrilla Detachment Party branch, Zhong Shanfu, Yin Jin yang, and Li Huantang. Through pictures and rusty relics, the tragic scenes of the martyrs were recreated.
In the afternoon, Wang Wenwu, secretary of the Party branch, organized all party members and league members to visit the site of the oath-taking ceremony of the Second Sichuan Red Army Guerrilla Detachment, the Dabai Tree secret contact point, and the former residence of Martyr Zhong Shanfu, experiencing up close the lofty realm and immortal revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary predecessors who sacrificed their lives for the country and faced death without fear.
Through this themed Party Day activity, the national spirit with patriotism as its core was promoted, the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the grassroots Party branch were enhanced, and the consciousness, initiative, and creativity of Jianfeng Haokang party members, cadres, and young league members in staying true to their original aspirations, taking practical actions, and striving to make achievements were inspired. The party members, cadres, and young people of Jianfeng Haokang expressed that they would take the revolutionary predecessors as examples, never forget history, work hard, and unite as one.
