Product Description
Haminol 206 is a white crystalline granule or powder. Melting point 163~164°C, it shrinks and turns into an infusible and insoluble resin upon heating. It belongs to the category of thermosetting resin prepolymers. It is derived from the complete hydroxymethylation of melamine, using a low-temperature reaction and low-temperature drying process throughout. The resulting hexamethoxymethylamine has an extremely low degree of polymerization. The impact of side reactions during subsequent reactions such as etherification is relatively small. It is used as an intermediate in the production of high-performance adhesive A and adhesive RA and remains unchanged for one year under dry and cool conditions.
