Product Description
Haminol385 resin is a new type of high-methylol methylolated fully water-soluble melamine resin with a low degree of alkylation reaction. Using demineralized water as a solvent, it can be rapidly cured without a strong acid catalyst. It can react with polymers containing hydroxyl, amide, and other groups. The resin is highly water-soluble and has a high self-condensation tendency. It can be used to increase the hardness and wear resistance of thermoplastic water-based polymers. It is generally recommended for use in emulsion systems and water dispersion systems. Under normal baking conditions, where the acidity of the main chain polymer in the formulation is sufficient to catalyze the reaction, the baking temperature is 120-150°C for 15 minutes.
