The main components of rubber adhesive RA are hexamethoxymethylmelamine (adhesive A) and inorganic carriers, forming a solid methylene donor adhesive. It is used in combination with a methylene acceptor to ensure sufficient bonding between rubber and reinforcing materials such as steel wire.

Application Instructions
Rubber adhesive RA creates bonding through a reaction with a methylene acceptor. For example, it reacts with rubber adhesive RE, resorcinol formaldehyde resin GLR-20, etc., to form a thermosetting resin. This reaction occurs rapidly at vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the bonding effect of this compounding system will be significantly reduced or even lost. Generally, a mixed rubber compound consisting of rubber, filler and methylene acceptor is prepared at a higher temperature first, and then rubber adhesive RA is added together with accelerators and sulfur during the final mixing in the later stage of rubber mixing.
The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RA and 2-5 parts of GLR-20 resin per 100 parts of rubber.
Packaging and Transportation
Rubber adhesive RA is externally packaged in woven bags with polyethylene plastic bags lining, with a net weight of 25 kg per package.
Before transportation and storage, check if the product packaging is intact. During transportation and storage, it should be stacked separately in a dry, clean and cool warehouse, and the product should be protected from moisture and heat damage.
The shelf life is one year.
