Amino resin Haminol 303A
Haminol 03A resin is a highly methoxylated amino resin with a solids content of over 98%, the chemical name of which is hexamethoxymethylmelamine.
Product Description
Haminol 03A resin is a highly methoxylated amino resin with a solid content of over 98%. Its chemical name is hexamethoxymethylmelamine. As a methylene donor in a direct bonding system between rubber and carcass materials, it is soluble in water and common organic solvents.
Product Specifications
Name | Appearance | Solid Content | Free Aldehyde (%) | Bound Aldehyde (%) | Viscosity (mpa·s) | Main Reactive Group |
Haminol 03A | Colorless and transparent | ≥98% | ≤1.0% | ≥40% | 2000~5000 | Alkoxy/Hydroxymethyl |
Product Application Instructions
1. Haminol 03A reacts with methylene acceptors at vulcanization temperatures, providing adhesion between rubber and carcass materials. For example, it reacts with resorcinol formaldehyde resin GLR-20, adhesive RE, and adhesive RS to form thermosetting resins. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesive effect of this system will be lost. Usually, the rubber, filler, and methylene acceptor are first prepared at a higher temperature; then, Haminol 03A and other compounding agents are added during the final stage of rubber mixing.
2. The recommended ratio is 1.5-3 parts Haminol 03A, combined with 2-5 parts GLR-20 resin or other methylene acceptors.
